Through her diverse business background, which includes property management as well as design and renovation, Judy is able to offer buyers and sellers a wide range of knowledge and expertise that has proven beneficial in helping them achieve their goals.
Prior to joining Low Country Real Estate Judy was associated with the top producing firm in Orange County, California, where she lived for four years. Her experience in Orange County’s coastal areas provided excellent preparation for the coastal region in and around Beaufort. Her earlier experience included managing a Caribbean resort, General Manager of an Atlanta-based commercial real estate investment/property management company, as well as working with the noted architect and developer John Portman. A native of North Carolina, Judy majored in music at Salem College in Winston-Salem.
“When representing buyers,” says Judy, “I like to first sit down with them and go through their ‘wants and needs’ list. I want to get a feel for their lifestyle, show them a few properties to get feedback and then go to work narrowing the field to those properties I believe will best fulfill their dreams.
In addition to her busy real estate career, Judy is an active member of her church, has participated in building homes with Corazon in Mexico and Habitat for Humanity in California and Georgia. She is an Ambassador for the Beaufort Chamber of Commerce, supports the Beaufort County Open Land Trust, and is a World Vision International Child Sponsor.
